Welcome to Main Street UMC Preschool.  We are very proud of our 45 year history of service to the families and children of this community.

We know how important your child's first school experience is.  We know that as a parent you are looking for a safe, healthy, and loving environment for your child(ren). 

Our curriculum begins in our infant room and builds through to our 4 year old/pre k program.  We believe that every moment is a learning moment.  Therefore, we are very careful in the examples that we set, the words we use, the good manners we display and how we treat each other and the children.  In addition, we believe that children learn through play and hands on experiences.  

Again, we welcome you to our preschool family and visitors are always welcome to come by and take a tour.

Upcoming Events

  • Parents will receive their class assignment letters the week of August 16th.
  • Preschool open house will be Tuesday Aug 31st from 10am - 11:30am OR Wednesday, Sept 1st from 10am - 11:30am.  See class assignment letter for your child's day.
  • First day of preschool - Thursday, Sept 2nd
  • Parent Orientation - Thursday and Friday, Sept 2nd and 3rd at 9:15 in the fellowship hall.
  • No School - Monday, Sept 6 - Labor Day
  • FALL CONSIGNMENT SALE - SEPTEMBER 24 AND 25.

Mission/Purpose Statement:

The Main Street United Methodist Preschool will provide a loving Christian atmosphere for all children to learn and play and grow to their fullest potential. Our goal for each child is to lay a foundation for a lifelong love of learning, respect for self and others, and knowledge that he/she is a child of God.
