CLASS OFFERINGS

Main Street United Methodist Church Preschool offers a Christian Early Childhood Program for infants through pre-kindergarten.   Hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon.

Our goal is to make your child's first school experience a very positive and happy one, placing strong emphasis on nurturing the child's social and emotional development.  In addition to nurturing your child, activities in our program involve play, snack, art, music, stories, cooking, visits from community helpers, and learning experiences appropriate to the child's age and development.

The curriculum is based upon the premise that children learn through play and hands-on experiences.    Learning experiences include concepts in numbers, letters, shapes, and colors, name recognition, writing and scissor skills, that are appropriate to the child's age and development.  Our pre-k classes for 4's and 5's follow a kindergarten readiness curriculum with academic, social and developmental goals.

Our religious approach is non-denominational, but definitely Christian.  The message of Jesus' love is a part of our program through stories and song.

Tuition

The monthly tuition rates :

1 day/week: $75

2 days/week: $120

3 day class: $130

4 day class: $140

5 day class: $150

If classes are full, we will be happy to place your child on a waiting list in case a space becomes available.

There is a $10 per month credit for families with more than one child in our program. The registration fee is $40 for the first child, $25 for any other child(ren) in the same family. It is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable. Tuition is due the first of each month (September-May).
